Hi, I'm Nazia!
I originally dreamed of becoming an astronautical engineer, designing space shuttles and imagining how people would one day live on the moon. Life took me in a different direction, leading me to architecture at the University of South Florida. Looking back, it feels like I found my way to the same dream, just through a different door.
Today, I'm a licensed architect and founder of Novel Architecture Studio. I work with homeowners, builders, and developers to create spaces that balance thoughtful design with the realities of everyday life.
When I'm not designing, I'm usually traveling the world with my husband, fly fishing, or hunting down unique architectural projects that most people don't know exist. I'm fascinated by how different cultures shape their homes around their lifestyles, traditions, and climates. Those experiences constantly influence how I think about design.
Outside of architecture, I love dancing, photography, and volunteering my design skills with nonprofits working on climate challenges. I also collect shot glasses from every country I visit.
I believe great design starts with curiosity, understanding people, and asking better questions.
Have a project in mind? I'd love to hear your story.
Let's create something thoughtful together.
